STEP 3: Certification of the Plant

The last step necessary to complete the Safety System Integration process is the Certification of the Plant.

• To certificate the overhauled machinery, it is necessary to create the CE Technical File in compliance with the regulatory provisions of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. This certification process will involve:
  • A Technical Report describing the work performed.
  • A new Plant Use and Maintenance Manual, in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
  • The Risk Analysis and Assessment document, in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
  • The new EC Declaration of Conformity, in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
  • The placement over the new CE Identification plate
